To help us celebrate Book Week Scotland 2023 we are delighted to welcome Glasgow historian and author Peter Mortimer to Bridgeton Library.  Peter Mortimer delivers talks and has written a number of books detailing the progression of our city, its many industries and the colourful characters who have created our unique culture.  Glasgow’s industries have a colourful history and this evening Peter will give us an insight into the industrial giant William Beardmore.
